Million Dollar Championship Ladder Match: Cameron Grimes vs. The match featured Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly and Johnny Gargano, but ended with no winner as Adam Cole. As noted earlier, tonight’s NXT opened with a Triple Threat to crown a new 1 contender to NXT Champion Karrion Kross. But hey, at least Mei Ying did something, right? A big Fatal 5 Way for the WWE NXT Title is now official for the upcoming Takeover: In Your House 2021 event. The bit with the chair to keep Martinez from looking too weak didn't do much for me, either. I would have liked a better sequence, rather than Martinez bringing Li into the ring and then getting caught with a kick. THOUGHTS: Decent match, but it had a weak ending. The biggest moment was Reed tackling Escobar through the barricade on the outside.
